RegistrationExchange provides policy driven registration services for citizens and staff, enabling service administrators to define registration policies in line with GC and local requirements. This includes multiple registration and cross organisation authentication level support, providing a single point of control and administration for all levels of service, and linking to existing accounts and references in back-end systems. It means that a citizen can register with his home Council, but gain single sign-on access to services from his County Council, other partnering Districts, or Central Government (through GC). Participation of voluntary organisations can be offered, with appropriate rules, to provide benefits in Social Care, for instance.

RecordExchange is an information collaboration hub that allows sensitive information to be shared and exchanged between partnering departments’ and agencies’ systems in a secure and trusted manner, compliant with each organisation’s own access rules and policies. Extensive partnerships can be developed with low incremental costs.

Practitioners can ask the hub if any partner has information on a particular person, and receive just the information agreed between the parties. Local management can readily manage and maintain their ever changing care relationships, reflecting and ensuring their professional confidentiality practices.
